Nach langem Warten ist es so weit: der Kurzfilm „Frank“ hat seine heiß ersehnte Premiere. Passend zu den letzten warmen Sommerstrahlen schicken wir Frank und Dominik auf ihre Reise in Richtung Sommerende. Am 6.9.2013 laden wir Euch um 20.00 Uhr zu seiner allerersten Vorstellung ins Cineding auf der Karl-Heine-Straße. Los geht es um 20:00 Uhr, der Eintritt ist frei.

Dominik muss in den Knast und nimmt seine Haft als Chance um alle Probleme hinter sich zu lassen. Sein Partner Frank begleitet ihn auf der Reise dorthin und packt ihm ein Bündel mit Erinnerungen. Sie versuchen ihre verkorkste Beziehung in den Griff zu bekommen, aber so planbar sind Beziehungen nunmal nicht.

Gedreht wurde der Film zwischen Juni 2012 und Januar 2013 in Leipzig und Berlin. Mit dabei war eine Gruppe an Schüler*innen der Georg-Schumann-Schule Leipzig. Im Laufe des Winters wird der Kurzfilm online unter creative commons Lizenz veröffentlicht. Möglich gemacht wurde das Projekt durch das Vertrauen und die Unterstützung viele einzelner Spender*innen sowie des StuRa Uni Leipzig.

Finally we made it. Together with you we can celebrate the very first public screening of the finished shortfilm „Frank“. Just in time for the last warm summer sun beams we send Frank and Dominic on their voyage. The premiere will take place on September 6th 2013 at the Cineding in Leipizig. We start at 8 p.m., there is no couver.

Dominik goes to jail and sees his time there as a chance to leave his problems behind. His partner Frank accompanies him on his trip and prepares him a pack of memories. They try to pick up the pieces of their relationship, but you cannot plan a relationship that way.

The short was shot between June 2012 and January 2013 in Leipzig and Berlin. It will be released under a creatice commons licence in winter 2013. The support and donations of many many supporters and the students association of the University of Leipzig made this film possible.

The 10th annual trans*march took place on June 28th 2013 in San Francisco, CA. As the most politicised of the three marches during pride week in San Francisco it has a tradition of raising the visibility of trans*-people and their issues. This short documentary is a collection of queer voices during the trans*march 2013 and reflects parts of the discussions concerning the trans*- and lgbt-movement.
Am 28.6.2013 fand in San Francisco der nun 10. Trans*march statt. Als politischste der drei im Rahmen der pride week stattfindenden Demonstrationen hat er es sich zur Tradition gemacht, laut und bunt und nicht immer kantenlos für Trans*menschen und ihre Belange Raum zu schaffen. Diese Kurzdokumentation versammelt verschiedene queere Stimmen und fängt neben der Atmosphäre der Demonstration auch Teile der aktuellen Diskussionen in den trans* und lgbt-Bewegungen ein.
